Crafty Beaver Logo Refresh

Crafty Beaver is a beloved Chicagoland hardware store that deserved a bit of a brand refresh. The new logo is highly inspired by Americana, the community surrounding the store, and all things midwestern.
The logo includes custom typography and archived type pulled from a 1930's type book to reference the store's founding year. 

This project is spec work and was originally created for Jacob Ristau's Identity System course at SAIC.
